Content Knowledge

So far in my studies at Auburn, I have taken numerous classes in each of the four core class subjects - Math, English, Science, and History. These classes gave me the opportunity to dive deeper into content we have already been exposed to in grade schools and developed a better understanding of the material. I found some of these very interesting as some of them such as a few math classes I have taken here were devoted to learning how to teach the subject to students.

     Many of the assignments that I have completed at my time here at Auburn have been a lot more non-traditional than the work we were used to doing in middle and high school. This allows for better student engagement in the content. We were required to make connections with the material; and the real world. I also was challenged to organize the information in a way that was interesting but still easy to understand.
